 I am the founder and head coach of mmchess.org, have been coaching students from 8 to 50 for more than 13 years. Many of my students have become national state champions and range from 400-1800 rated.

I believe that the best way to work with a student is to make chess relevant to their existing interests. I have coached six students to grade-level championships, and many students of mine are ranked in the top 100 for their age groups. I'm a lifelong learner, and take lessons from GM Zahar Efimenko to improve my chess. These are also the beliefs of the other teachers at mmchess.org.

 My best accomplishments include winning the Denker Tournament of High School Champions, being the North American Youth co-Champion, and being many time Ohio state champion.
