I am a father of 3 I had the opportunity to serve as an LDS missionary to Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, so I can speak both English and Spanish. I participated in a lot of High School tournaments. Some rated tournaments and a few college intramural tournaments. My favorite tournament was the Philip Emeric Open on January 23, 2003. I went into the tournament rated 1240, played and beat a 1722, 1500,1665 and an 1830. I also lost to an 1812. But I took fourth place and jumped up to 1544.
