There is no better than adversity. Every defeat, every heartbreak, every loss, contains its seed, its lesson on how to improve our performance the next time. What matters are the experiences I have collected under my belt that become the keys to unlock doors I may encounter in the future. What matters are the genuine connections I have made, and the laughter I have shared, with people twenty years older and twenty years younger, who speak a different language than me Not everyone is a winner just for showing up. The winner, in this case, is the person who studies more, knows more, trains harder even lucky sometimes' "everyone is a winner” Really! mentality does not build true self-esteem; instead, it “builds this empty sense of ‘I’m just fantastic, not because I did anything, but just because I’m here.” I’m all for good sportsmanship, but having a positive attitude will not always equate to winning or success in life. Sometimes, you just lose. We have to know and learn about our resilience, about learning from our mistakes, about the wide range of emotions and experiences that we have to face, about effort and perseverance, and about our strength of character we have to realize that our opponent or whatever sometimes is better than us that our best is not enough, and that should drive you to want to do better.
